These jeans incorporate the "Little Green" theme, reflecting the public's perception of the color associated with snakes, aligning perfectly with the Year of the Snake. Since 2021, starting with the Year of the Tiger, an annual zodiac-inspired design has been introduced. This unique collection stands out for its originality, with every aspect from design development to fabric selection being custom-dyed and created in-house.

    The Year of the Snake edition features a distinctive dual-tone dyed leather patch depicting a vivid Lady White Snake (Bai Suzhen) illustration, emphasizing the zodiac's significance. The fabric, created based on fan feedback, uses the brand's proprietary heavy-duty material. It incorporates a rustic bamboo-slub yarn texture and a thematic green color. The custom green selvedge paired with light green weft dyeing further enhances the snake-themed aesthetic.

The ultra-heavyweight fabric has undergone pre-shrinking treatment to minimize shrinkage. With an impressive weight of 20 ounces, this pair of raw denim jeans is exceptionally rigid and thick. Crafted on vintage selvedge denim looms, it uses premium long-staple cotton, ensuring durability and a classic feel that denim enthusiasts highly value.

    The fabric for this custom-developed material aligns seamlessly with the Year of the Snake theme, combining warp and weft bamboo-slub yarns to create a rugged, textured feel with prominent, chunky grains. The warp threads are dyed in a deep indigo hue, while the weft threads feature a subtle green tint to reflect the thematic color.

    Given the spacing between the bamboo-slub yarn textures, excessive green dye could disrupt the jeans' overall color on the front side. Therefore, the weft's green dye is intentionally kept light to maintain the denim's visual balance and integrity. The result is a fabric with a visually appealing and unique look that perfectly embodies the zodiac-inspired concept.

 

    The design features the classic 308XX 66 model fit from the store, with a mid-to-high rise and a slightly tapered leg for a tailored look. Made from heavyweight raw denim, this pair of jeans is markedly different from standard denim due to its rigidity.

    These jeans require an initial desizing process (soaking) before wearing. Over time, as they are worn, they will gradually fade and develop beautiful, personalized patterns, making them a favorite for denim enthusiasts who enjoy the process of "breaking in" raw denim.

 

Brass rivet details are highlighted with an oxidized bronze finish, creating an aged effect that exudes a rich texture and vintage aesthetic.
