2024 New Heavy-Washed Vintage Denim Jacket

    Crafted with 14.5 oz selvedge denim, this loose-fit jacket showcases the timeless charm of first-generation single-pocket design with a heavily washed, vintage-inspired aesthetic. Known for its focus on raw denim, Sauce zhan Denim takes a purist approach to washed products, aiming to replicate the natural fading and worn-in appeal of aged denim rather than exaggerated effects.  

    The jacket's fabric, woven on antique looms, features authentic selvedge detailing. It avoids overt whiskering or honeycombing, instead presenting a naturally muted, rustic hue with an intense aged look, reminiscent of a well-worn, classic denim jacket steeped in retro appeal.  

    The design, modeled after the iconic single-pocket Type 1 jacket, is heavily faded with lighter tones compared to other in-store offerings. Enhanced by intricate hand-finishing, the jacket boasts detailed distressing and wear patterns, achieved through a meticulous and labor-intensive 

    To ensure durability and maintain the aesthetic of distressed patches, we've reinforced the backing fabric with edge binding. This extra step prevents the worn areas from expanding further with regular wear and avoids unraveling of the threads over time. The design not only preserves the vintage look but also enhances the jacket's long-term usability.

    This jacket undergoes an intensive heavy-wash and distressing process, resulting in a far more worn and aged appearance compared to previous wash styles in the collection. The garment features multiple areas of intentional damage and distressing, including frayed and broken stitching.

    For heavily worn seams or thread breakage, additional hand-stitch repairs are meticulously applied after washing to ensure durability. Minor thread wear or broken stitches are part of the intentional aged aesthetic and do not affect the jacket's quality. These features are considered a natural outcome of the heavy wash and distressing process rather than defects. Please be informed and understand the design intent.
