Custom-Developed Indigo Selvedge Denim · 908XX Fit

    This fabric was fully custom-developed in-house, with carefully adjusted dyeing techniques to achieve a rich and vibrant indigo hue. It features our highly popular 908XX fit—a slim-straight, slightly tapered silhouette inspired by the classic '66 model. Designed for comfort and everyday wear, it's especially suitable for summer.

    The fabric has undergone pre-shrinking treatment, so shrinkage is minimal—simply choose your regular size. Made on vintage shuttle looms, this red selvedge denim is raw and starch-free, designed for long-term fade development. With wear, it will gradually lose color and form unique whiskers and creases, creating a one-of-a-kind patina.

Note: Due to the nature of unsanforized denim and its fading process, some leg twisting may occur depending on your washing method and frequency—this is a natural part of the raw denim experience.

    The High Line model is meticulously crafted in our sample room using a wide range of vintage sewing equipment, resulting in extremely limited production capacity. Every pair features premium GUNZE threads imported from Japan, known for their exceptional quality and high cost.

    Each garment is assembled on carefully restored antique sewing machines from the 1940s to 1960s, with remarkable attention to detail. Unique features include a shell-pattern buttonhole stitch at the fly and a distinctive Chinese “又” character bartack stitch on the pockets—both executed using rare vintage machines no longer in commercial production.

    Maintaining and operating these antique machines requires exceptional skill and ongoing investment, but the resulting craftsmanship speaks for itself. These refined touches are reserved exclusively for the SAUCE ORIGIN premium product line, offering a true collector’s denim experience.

 

 

 

 

Handcrafted “Dragon Carving” Button · 2024 Limited Design Inspired by Dragon Motifs

    Inspired by the intricate spirit of the 2024 Year of the Dragon, the main button is handcrafted from 925 silver wrapped over a solid brass base. After precise polishing and finishing by skilled artisans, the dragon’s form emerges with lifelike detail—elegant and expressive, like a piece of fine jewelry.

    Due to the highly detailed nature of the “Dragon Carving,” the polishing process is extremely time-consuming and labor-intensive. In fact, the craftsmanship costs far exceed the value of the silver itself, making each button a work of wearable art.

    As time passes, the silver will naturally oxidize and darken, further enhancing the depth and character of the dragon motif. The secondary buttons are made of silver-plated brass and will gradually reveal warm brass tones as the plating wears with use, adding to the garment’s aged and personalized charm.
